Serco Recycling Campaign

Serco Recycling Campaign

Wilson Design has just finished an extensive promotional campaign for Serco for their recycling contract at Sandwell Council. The project includes a 16-page information booklet with a print run of 60,000 copies, stickers for the recycling bins, collection day calendars and a marketing piece called BINgo! Sandwell has a large mixed race community and in previous campaigns language differences have at times proved problematic, so this time the issues have been solved by focussing on the use of… read more

Party Promotions

Wilson Design has created new business cards and a personalised thank you card for the recently appointed Business Growth Advisor of the Southeast Region of the Entrepreneur’s Circle Karl Anscombe. The card, which will be sent out to all of Karl’s members, says: “It is not your customers’ job to remember to do business with you. It’s your job to remind them.” An effective reminder to all Karl’s customers (members) that they should be consistently marketing… read more

Once is not enough

Once is not enough

It’s a common marketing belief that it takes around seven separate communications before a potential client will respond positively to your call to take action. Yes, seven times, before he or she will take the plunge and form some kind of business relationship with you. Remember this number is only an average statistic, but it certainly reminds us that once is never enough: you can’t just send out a single message, cross your fingers and hope for a positive outcome: marketing is a continual… read more

Give it all away

Give it all away

I'm a big fan of corporate 'giveaways' and lumpy mail! Anything that gets your brand noticed for more time is worth it's weight in gold.  I often talk about the benefits of digital embossing on business cards and flyers because it makes someone hold and touch it for longer, embedding it in their mind, well corporate gifts do the same but for even longer – hopefully! If you are giving away mugs, pens, keyrings, pads or whatever it may be, the chances are it will be on someones… read more

Making the right first impression… again and again!

Making the right first impression… again and again!

We developed this identity for Tritel Communications in 2003 at which time the client was delighted with the design and our service. But as testiment to 'getting it right' he has not ever felt the need to change it and keeps coming back for reprints... because it just works for him! He had this to say at the end of last year when we updated his stationery because he had moved his business premises: "Thank you very much for the prompt service with the new stationary and business cards. They… read more
