Pubs, Pints and Pixels

Those of you who know Andy and I will understand that we do enjoy a pint or two, and can often be found making the most of Chichester’s many fine pubs. A good number of those establishments happen to be – or have been – clients of ours over the years. Places like The Nags Head and The Park Tavern are not only great for a drink but also part of our working week... at least that’s what we call "market research"!

One of our long-standing clients, The Gribble Inn in Oving, sadly sustained significant damage in a recent fire and is currently closed for repair and restoration. It’s a lovely pub with its own microbrewery, and we know many of you will be just as saddened by the news as we were.

What you might not know is that The Gribble Inn has a sister pub, The Selsey Arms in West Dean. It’s a charming country pub – welcoming, characterful, and well worth a visit. If you’re looking for somewhere new to explore this summer, we’d definitely recommend stopping by.

We’ve worked with both pubs over the years, including creating The Gribble Inn’s logo and designing their range of pump clips for the beers brewed on-site. Just before the fire, we had launched a brand-new website for them and were in the process of developing additional marketing materials. We’re wishing them a smooth and speedy return to full service.

The website was built using our usual ‘mobile-first’ approach – ensuring it looks great and performs seamlessly across all devices, from phones and tablets to desktops. Responsive design like this isn’t just about appearances – it also plays a key role in user experience and SEO. A mobile-friendly website tends to load faster and rank better in search engines, meaning greater visibility and reach for your business.

So if you’re thinking about a new website, or your current one could do with a refresh, let’s talk. (We’re happy to meet at the pub – for research purposes, of course.)
