We have the X factor smile!

We have recently produced a new stationery range for the dental practice that puts those bright white smiles on the contestants taking part in the X Factor.

Druian & Spektor Dental Practice (The London Centre for Cosmetic Dentistry) have used our design services for over 20 years! We created their original brand in the mid 80s when we were based in London. Over the years we have revised the look of the brand several times and produced many items of promotion and publicity, but at the centre of everything has been a smile!

The client was very happy with the result and left the following comments; "Thanks for the visuals, everyone said it looks fantastic. Many thanks again for your excellent customer service."

Mervyn Druian is well respected within the profession being the 'X Factor dentist' and the principal dentist on Extreme Makeovers UK, he is a leading pioneer in the field of cosmetic dentistry, and has created many famous and recognisable smiles. He was also my dentist in the 80s!

Chichester BID votes YES

Chichester businesses have voted to create a Business Improvement District (BID) for an initial five years. WDA are proud to have been part of the marketing team that presented the information to the City. Under the scheme, the money raised will be retained locally and spent on a range of initiatives to manage and promote the city and develop better trading conditions.

WDA spent several months designing and producing the branding, website, marketing and communications material for the campaign. We worked closely with Kim Long (City Centre Manager), Andrew Finnamore (Chair) and Barry Jenkins, from the Chichester City Centre Partnership. We also worked with other SCDF members including; photography (The Photography Lounge), video (Kabuki Productions) and promotional print and products (Supersigns, Design & Digital Print and MPM2).

new branding for the gribble

The Gribble Inn in Oving, near Chichester, approached us to create a brand and develop a design for their pump clips for the great range of beers from the Gribble Brewery

Gribble bar with pump clips

The aim for the logo was a strong, clear design, with styling in keeping with traditional pub lettering. Illustration has been part of all The Gribble's previous material and they wished to retain this in the logo and across the pump clip designs. We updated an old sketch to be cleaner and in a vector format so the logo can be reproduced at any size.

The pump clips, each with their own unique illustration, were designed so the logo, beer name and ABV would be displayed consistently making them easily recognisable as Gribble ales.

Check out the pump clips next time you pop in The Gribble for a pint!

recycling promotions for students

We recently finished a project for Serco in association with Charnwood Council to promote recycling services to the student community.

The brief from Serco indicated that Charnwood Borough Council were keen to develop branding for campaigns/messages targeting the local student population. The campaign is to inform students living on campus, in halls of residence and students living off-campus of the recycling service provision. The design and typeface needs to appeal to the age group and be consistent with Charnwood BC’s branding guidelines. The aim is to have a consistent approach to communications and develop a recognisable style/brand so campaigns are instinctively recognised by the target audience as waste/recycling campaign messages.

The Council said of the project: "I just wanted to drop you a quick email to let you know how pleased we are with the design for the student leaflets, posters and roller banners. They've turned out really well, and we're delighted. Thanks for your hard work and I hope to send more work your way soon."

Attraction website for Hollycombe Working Steam Museum

We produced all Hollycombe's offline promotions for severals years including leaflets, guide book, advertising and lottery funded orientation signage. We have now recently launched the new website.

Hollycombe website as viewed on screen and mobile phone

The design of the site has been brought inline with the offline material so there is a consistent branding across all Hollycombe's communication. The structure follows the themes and colours as we developed for the guide book and on-site orientation signage.

The website is fully controlled by a content management system so the client can update all sections of the site and also includes dynamic styles so it can be viewed on devices such as mobile phones but still retain the character of the main site.
